About Nathan
I have been teaching Life Sciences for 27 years including Biology, Anatomy & Physiology, Botany, and generalized sciences at all secondary levels (MS, HS, and University). I have taught and tutored the AP courses as well.
I have a deep love for discovery through science but also realize that not all students are big fans of the topic or might find it challenging. I am here to be your advocate and help build your confidence in addition to building your knowledge.

I have been teaching secondary-level (Middle, High, and University) students for 27 years. I have taught a wide range of students and assisted them in finding success.
I work with students to find their strengths in learning and tailor our times to accent those strengths and ensure understanding of content. I work to meet students at their level of understanding and make sure their foundational understanding is secure and then design our time together to focus on knowledge growth.
In my educational background, I have an MS in Biology, an MA in History, a Masters in Teaching and Learning, and a PhD in Curriculum and Instruction.
I specialize in Biology, Genetics, and Life Sciences, and Social Studies content ( World History, US History, Geography).
Students can gain a remarkable knowledge increase working with an experienced educator who can adapt to their learning needs.
