About Jamie
I am passionate about making music and the value it adds to people's lives especially when learning an instrument. I aim to pass on this enthusiasm through teaching and helping a pupil gain skills and have fun learning. I compose music for TV and improvise jazz and blues. With this background, I can offer a creative approach whether it is to understand harmony, improvise or learn something classical I always put the pupil at the centre of the experience of learning.

I offer a friendly and versatile approach to learning piano offering techniques in classical, jazz, blues and pop music. My background as a performer and composer has given me a breadth of musical knowledge that can help tailor the lessons to a pupil's interests. I have taken pupils through many exams but my main aim is to give them a passion and love of learning to play.
