About Elva
Students evaluate me as a patient, experienced, and rigorous teacher. I am able to teach fluently in English, and the classroom is lively and interesting. Starting from the first class, I will help students understand the structure of Chinese sentences, learn Chinese expression and thinking, encourage students to confidently express themselves, and actively participate in classroom interactions. At the same time, pay attention to the feelings of students, encourage them to practice more, and improve the accuracy of Chinese expression. I am passionate about teaching Chinese and also passionate about cultural exchange. I have worked in three universities and four professional Chinese language education institutions in China, teaching students ranging in age from 7 to 65, including diplomats, company executives, international students, elementary school students, etc. The HSK level 3 to 6 students I tutored have all passed the exam.
