About Alexander

I am an accomplished touring musician who has played throughout the UK, and to further afield locations such as Spain. I also have much recording experience and have only recently released my first single. I began playing the guitar at the age of 13, and since then it has been a life long obsession of mines. I perform as a solo musician, accompanying myself with loop-based musical themes using a complex array of vocal harmony and guitar-based loops. I come from a rock background but am very comfortable with acoustic playing and have ventured further into more traditional musical themes as I have matured as a musician

About the lesson

I have a very friendly and approachable teaching method. It is very important that my students feel relaxed and comfortable and that we get to know each other. Building a connection is the hidden ingredient of good tuition and is what separates 'one on one' tuition from any 'app-based' or youtube driven teaching material. It allows me to hone in on the precise areas where you may need specifically tailored tuition in order for you to make the progress you require.

I have met with Alexander few times before further covid19 restrictions were introduced and I have only positive experience. He has managed to explain me things the way I would understand and was very patient and encouraging. I would definitely recommend him as a teacher to everyone who is looking to learn play guitar, even if you are a complete beginner like myself.
