About Christina
My educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in healthcare administration, a Master of Science in leadership, post-master's in professional counseling, and I am currently 1 year out from completing my PhD in Psychology with an emphasis in cognition and instruction. My professional background includes experience in public and private higher education (including community college) in enrollment/academic/finance advising, adjunct instructor, developing and implementing trainings for other higher education professionals on helping students improve academic outcomes, essay/thesis/grant writing, tutoring, career counseling, and much more! But most importantly, it’s my passion for learning and helping others reach their academic goals that has led to success in my career!

My passion is helping students reach their full potential! My initial session starts with a consultation so that I can get to know you better.. your strengths, weaknesses, and areas of opportunity. I don’t focus just on what you do not know… but how you learn best! No two students are the same, so I will assess your learning style and adjust my approach appropriately using evidence based best practices in education and instruction. I won’t give you answers… I will show you resources to help you come to the desired outcome and teach you strategies that you can continue to apply long after our sessions are complete…because learning should be a life-long endeavor!
