About Finian
I'm a top English Student living in Scotland, and have recently completed my Advanced Higher English qualification with an A* and the prize for best in year. Similarly I achieved an A* for Higher English, and an A* for National 5 English.

Depending on the course section, I will look in depth at the structure of poetry and discuss techniques and skills, and then practice with my student how to respond effectively to poetry in an exam.
I go over correct research technique for dissertations, take a look at writing style and help them understand how to effectively edit their work. I will look in detail at the language of the critical text being studied, discuss techniques to remember quotations and essay formats which can be applied to any exam question.
I provide example essays and dissertations as well as editing support and detailed and guided notes on how to be successful in your English course.
