About Angela

I have a degree in biology and i love teaching and having student have their light bulb moments. I think any student can reach their goals with a bit of guidance. Biology is like learning a new language. The trick is to make is fun and memorable but also make it make sense.

About the lesson

I have taught 9th grade biology for 12 years and only had 2 failures my first year. Since then I’ve had 100% passing. For AP Biology, I’ve taught it for 9 years and last years I had 85% of my students score a 3 or above.For the Texas STAAR I know how the test is formatted and what TEKs they test on the most. My focus would be on learning by objectives and practicing. For AP, we would practice but also go over content you may be struggling with.
