About Haroon
Hey there! My name is Haroon Ullah. I am a high school student that is thriving in the math and science departments. I have great distinction marks and am looking forward to pursuing a career in the science world. Since I was young I have been helping my peers with their studies. I have always been a great aid to those around me and want to continue doing so. Every time I have helped someone, I always enjoy seeing their reaction when they get that "aha" moment. It is very satisfying and is what pushes me to continue helping those around me with their difficulties in academics. I have several skills that all tutors should have: - Patience: I understand that everyone learns differently and at their own pace. I am always willing to explain the same concept over and over again from different angles until the student understands. - Attentiveness: I always analyze my student and adapt to their learning strengths and weaknesses. - Adaptability: I adapt quick to any student and how they learn.

I tutor students using the Socratic method. I guide my students towards certain questions that answer key concepts and parts to a subject. I study how my student works and learns. I adapt to my students needs and create lessons for them. My lessons are for any student that needs a little extra help in mathematics and science. A typical lesson would look like this: - A follow up on the students school (what they did) - A review/explanation of the concepts covered in school - Practice of the concepts covered in school - Correction of practice and explanation of what went wrong - What to do next time
