About Ally

My name is Ally Reyes Acosta, and I am a high school student. A few things I like to do are play the piano, sing, and read books on my free time. I enjoy listening to music, and am currently learning how to play the electric guitar. I was top of my class for multiple years in a row since 5th grade, and won a scholarship that now allows me to play in musicals during the summertime. I like bonding with others and am always open to making new friends.

Finally, I am hoping to make a good impact on others with my tutoring. Most of all, I'm looking forward to learning something new out of this that I can use to grow more, and have more opportunities to help more people in the future.

About the lesson

- Lessons are available to do through Zoom or Google Meet.

The teaching methods and techniques used in the lessons include verbal activities like practicing sounding out words, visual activities to help connect words with objects (ex: a picture of an apple would be used to represent the word or the letter A), and auditory activities like songs.
