About Samantha

I am a high schooler, I am just like many of you students who are in school learning. I have been helping and teaching elementary schoolers for 3 years now. I help with the basics from elementary school to high school and basic forensic science as a specialty or as known as dipping your toes into a career pathway. I encourage you to ask questions in the lessons and I encourage to engage yourself in every lesson and never give up because its okay to fail or not do good at something, what matters is what you do with that and that is what I am here to do, that is my sole purpose and I want to help you grow your confidence as a student. I am focused on you only in our lessons. I am a high schooler myself and I get the pressure of being in school and doing well as most of you feel too, and that's why I want to help you. I hope you allow me to teach you some cool things and grow as a student and be someone you can use to help you accomplish your goals as a student and your future goals, whether it be college or whatever it is, even if it to take AP classes, I am here to help you.

About the lesson

I think that learning should be fun and engaging not something you just learn and forget, and when tutoring you, I am here to help you and only you at that moment and I look forward to building a relationship with my students, one where we can talk about learning and have fun! A typical lesson plan would be looking over that target for that day and seeing at the moment where you need help or if I am teaching you something completely new, its taking notes and discussing that target, then completing any homework or work you need to complete, but the lessons vary on you and what you want to accomplish that day, so its lesson or review then working on things you are struggling with, it is always based on you and you alone. What sets me apart as a tutor is that I am a high schooler, so for all the younger kids like between elementary to high school I get you, and I want to help you, also what sets me apart is my approach to everything, it always open and accepting and as a tutor I am only looking to help you enjoy learning as much as I do, and I think that open-mindedness is what sets me apart, and just the general love for helping you and the stuff I teach. But what mainly sets me apart is my attitude towards everything, which is you can try and fail, but what matters is that you try again, its not about the grade or the degree or anything, what matters is if you try again and again and keep trying. The lessons are for anyone and everyone, typically algebra, biology, sciences, and forensics is for high schoolers and young adults in college, but the general math and English and science and history are for anyone and everyone from kindergarten to 10th grade. The forensic is to help you understand and get the basics of what being a forensic scientist is, and it to better understand human systems and forensics as a whole, and everything else is for students in school, like kindergarten to high school, who are trying to pass a certain class or get a diploma or graduate, the basics in every subjects are for them. But its for everyone and anyone.
