About Arina
My family immigrated to New Zealand 2 years ago from Russia, where I used to study math before. I had several teachers who taught me Olympic math and high-level math techniques. I've won many awards in competitions including mathematics and programming both in Russia and New Zealand. I've participated in events, like the All-Russian Olympiad (mathematics, programming, English, physics), the Siberian Mathematical Contest, the New Zealand Mathematical Olympiad, and the Australian Mathematical Competition.

- I believe students learn the best when the material is given in a fun and interactive way. I think patience is the key to connection between teacher and student, I always try to find new ways to provide information to a student. - 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the student and their level. - I used to teach maths to some members of my family and my friends. I also participated in the project of creating a computer program to ensure that students get more involved in studying and have more fun doing it. - Preferably I'd like to teach math to primary and intermediate school students, though I can teach maths for NCEA levels 1 and 2
