About Kate
I am a high school Spanish teacher! I’ve taught for eight years. I majored in Spanish Language and Literature at Quinnipiac University and have a Master’s degree in Teaching and Curriculum Design. I studied abroad in Granada, Spain in 2009 and have helped lead two student trips to Spain as a teacher.

My teaching style is heavily based in making connections! I pride myself on my ability to establish a safe environment where my students feel comfortable taking risks and making mistakes. I enjoy entering into various grammatical topics through the lens of culture and aim to engage my students in meaningful and authentic experiences with the language.
