About Mariem
I took honors English in my first two years of high school, as well as APUSH and AP Language and Composition in junior year, earning a 5 and 4 on the AP exam respectively. Additionally, I have consistently scored in the 750-800 range on 3 SAT English sections. During my junior year and going into my senior year I was part of a mentorship program that helped incoming freshmen adjust to high school, so I have plenty of experience working with and helping others. All of this is to say I’m very qualified to be an English tutor and I promise to meet your needs :D

I’m one of Mariem’s classmates from Lang, and when I was borderline failing the class she gave me free lessons after school. She was very patient and very good at explaining things. I primarily struggled with writing good essays with strong reasoning but she was able to help me build up my reasoning skills in just a few weeks.
