About Maggie
In elementary school, I was a late reader and it took years of teachers working with me to get to the level of my peers. This made me HATE reading, because most people don't like to do what they don’t feel they are good at, right? When I became a teacher, my goal was to, not only improve students’ reading skills, but their enjoyment of reading and their confidence in completing reading tasks. I have taught at all levels and have been a principal at a large K-8 school for years. I now lead a group of amazing professionals who work with special education students every day with very similar goals as when I started. I am looking forward to spending time working with students one on one and watch their success firsthand.
