About Stirling
I am a dedicated math tutor with a strong academic background, including a 98% in Calculus and upcoming studies in engineering. I specialize in helping high school students (up to Grade 12) build a clear understanding of math concepts, not just memorize steps.
I know from experience how frustrating math can feel when concepts don’t click right away. Because of that, I focus on breaking problems down into simple, logical steps and adjusting my explanations until they make sense for each student.
My goal is to help students become confident and independent in solving problems, whether they are catching up, improving their grades, or preparing for exams.
All lessons are conducted online in a structured and supportive environment.

I focus on hands-on, step-by-step learning where students actively work through problems rather than passively watching. My approach combines clear explanations of why methods work with structured repetition to build confidence and long-term understanding.
Having struggled with math myself earlier on, I understand how frustrating it can feel when concepts don’t click. That experience shapes how I teach—I break problems down into simple, logical steps and adapt explanations until they make sense to the student.
A typical lesson starts with identifying the student’s specific gaps, followed by guided examples, then independent practice with real-time feedback. I make sure students leave each session able to solve similar problems on their own.
I tutor students up to Grade 12 math, including those who need help catching up, strengthening fundamentals, or preparing for exams. Lessons are tailored to each student’s pace and goals.
