About Chris
Hi there! My name is Chris and I am currently a high school student in Calgary. I'm proficient in Math and Science, however I am open to other subjects including Language Arts and Social Studies (Up to Grade 10 level subjects). I have taught youth in martial arts for about 5 years and I'm moving to academic tutoring in order to expand my skills.
In terms of my own personal achievements, I earned the "Top Academic Award" in 2022 by Foundations for the Future Charter Academy and I was my school's champion for the Waterloo CIMC Math Contest.

I will pace your lessons to fit your needs by spending more time on areas of growth and reviewing new material throughout your lessons.
I follow the "I do", "We do", and "You do" process to help you gain a better understanding of methods to solve a problem. I'll take as much time as needed to help build firm foundations in your academic journey.
I believe learning in person is more effective, however, I am willing to tutor online as well!

Chris is a great leader that cares deeply for the needs of others. His skill in academics are of the highest level and he will ensure that you learn and understand the concepts perfectly. There is no one I would trust more to teach and tutor me that Chris.
In the past, Chris has consistently and passionately displayed his passion for helping others. I can not think of a time when Chris has not forgotten his own wants in the hopes of putting others first. This quality of kindness paired with his exceptional academic prowess make Chris an ideal candidate for any teaching role.
Chris is a great tutor by understanding the person he is tutoring. He is able to connect with his students in turn making the tutor sessions more enjoyable and easier to understand the material. Chris is a great tutor for those who are ready to learn.
