About Emyr
I am a 19-year-old high school graduate with a love for all things book and spelling related. I enjoy working with kids of all ages and excelled in my English and language classes throughout my school career. I graduated with a 3.4 GPA and have been commended by teachers and past employers for my patience and leadership skills. In my free time, I work on my fantasy novel, The Thorn and The Lily, reinforcing my love for English-language arts. I am very excited to tutor your student!

Each lesson plan is tailored to the student's age, learning style, and goals. A typical session begins with a short warm-up activity to build comfort and focus, followed by targeted reading and writing exercises designed to strengthen key skills. I use a mix of structured learning, (vocabulary exercises, reading comprehension, grammar practice, etc) and creative activities (storytelling, games, or writing prompts). I strive to keep my lessons engaging and effective.
It's important to me that each student's lesson is relevant to what they are currently learning in their classes, and may sometimes ask to see current homework assignments and classroom work to better tailor lessons to student's ability and classroom goals.
