About Jamie
As someone who previously struggled with the subject, but through hard work and perseverance was able to steadily increase my percentage each term, until passing my final year with a 90%, I feel as though I am able to impart some wisdom to my students, due to the fact that throughout my journey to an A, I learned many tricks and helpful hints on how to not only improve my marks but how to maintain them.

As someone who is a native English speaker, I can understand the frustration and struggle that my students have with learning the subject and all its quirks.
My methods of teaching are simple in that my goal is to identify points of weakness in the subject and to focus my attention as needed.
In a lesson, depending on the area of difficulty, the student and I will attack past papers, with added questions from me as well as intermittent pop quizzes from me, just to keep them on their toes.
My goal as a tutor is to assist my students in attaining a mark that will make them proud, I myself do not set the goals, but rather allow my students to give me a target.
My expertise and lessons are suitable for any age and any learning level.
