I have been teaching High School Art and Literature for fifteen years. I have taught all grades and classes from grade 9 to grade 12, both academic and applied courses. I extensively use student feedback and formative assessments to let students know how they are doing long before a major test or assignment. I also get students engaged in the assessment process so they can become the best judge of the quality of their own work. Positive, timely feedback and a strong sense of accomplishment help my students learn efficiently.
