About Christian Thomas
I am a student at Université de Montréal in physiotherapy who has always excelled in school due to my self-discipline and love of learning. I seek to transmit these to my students. I am a recipient of the Governor's general award in high school and in college (best overall grades of my graduating year)
I tutored for multiple years and have a lot of experience teaching simply and clearly in a way that facilitates learning.
I served as a volunteer teaching self-improvement and helping peaople increase their well-being for two years in French Polynesia.
I have a deep understanding of several problems students may deal with, since I probably dealt with them myself in the past year or so, and therefore know how to remediate the situation. I love helping others (close to 200 hours of community service so far), and tutoring is the perfect opportunity to do so!

I encourage students to try to discover new or challenging topics first and learn to visualize math by drawing out functions and equations to help them gain an intuitive way of understanding math. I motivate students to make mistakes and try to solve questions that may seem daunting to them, to thereafter correct their mistakes together so that students may learn to recognize potential errors they may make. My patience and experience in the domain (2 years of work experience tutoring) make me a great tutor, and I specialize in tutoring calculus, classical mecanics and chemistry, along with french. I can also help out with biology and other subjects in high school math and science
