About Chase
I have a big bubbly personality, passion for the Spanish language, and heart for my tutees! I have studied Spanish for over 15 years at Salem Academy, the oldest all girls school in the nation, High Point University, and currently Wake Forest University. What makes me most happy is encouraging my students in their own mastery of Spanish so that they are confident in their competency and understanding of the language. Also, I am a firm believer in the growth mindset and share this with my tutees because it changes their understanding of what it means to learn. Students who embrace the growth mindset are knowledge seekers, work hard, fail, learn from their mistakes and as a result have so much personal growth!
Learning a foreign language takes a growth mindset, a bit of time, and self discipline to put in the effort.

As an online tutor I create content based on your needs. My teaching methods are what set me apart as a tutor.
Prior to each session I like to know what you will need assistance with so that may best serve you. I often use this information to create personalized study guides outlining key concepts, themes, vocabulary and grammar, mnemonics, tips and more! This study guide guides our lesson plan during the session and is an awesome keepsake reference. In addition to study guides I create personalized Youtube videos explaining difficult concepts in an easy to understand approach.
I can assist at any level. My specialty is Spanish grammar, vocabulary, and writing.
After a session with me my tutees feel more confident in their abilities and have improved test & GPA averages!
