About Scott
As a math teacher I'm not much of a writer (sorry lol). So for this section I will do what math teachers do, I'll list the facts.
I have 30+ years of experience teaching high level math
I have 10+ years of experience teaching college math
I played professional baseball
I'm still married to my high school sweetheart (irrelevant, but maybe a character builder)
I raised 2 great kids (ages 24,26), one is a lawyer in Pittsburgh, PA and the other works on the municipal bonds team (finance) for T Rowe Price in Baltimore, MD
I still coach football in Dallas, PA. We've been to 2 State Championship games since 2019.
I'm here for you. I've been around a long time and there isn't much I haven't seen. I'm easy to get along with and I'll stay online with you until we get it figured out. Math can be STRESSFUL when you are struggling, I get it. We'll get you over the hump as long as you are willing.

First and foremost I am a teacher and a competitor. I taught High School Math for 30 years, I played professional baseball as well as college football. I have always felt you learn better when you are invested in the process. I was always bored with lecturers. I want my students INVOLVED in the learning process. Whether I'm coaching or tutoring I feel I need to keep the students engaged. Therefore, I'm all about the Socratic Method. Rather than me teaching and you listening, I'd rather steer you to the right answer with directed questions and answers. What do you think we should do first here? What information do you think is important here? How do you think we should start this problem.......
