About Subhani
My name is Subhani, and I am a Grade 10 Honor Roll with a 90%+ academic average. Because I have recently completed the same math and science courses that students in Grades 6-9 are learning now, I have a strong understanding of the material and the common challenges students face.
Being close in age allows me to relate to students easily and explain concepts in a way that feels clear, familiar, and less intimidating. I tutor with patience, responsibility, and strong organization, making sure every lesson is focused and supportive.
My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to build confidence and understanding by explaining ideas in simple, step-by-step ways. I take my role seriously and aim to create a comfortable, encouraging learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and growing academically.

I focus on step-by-step explanations, breaking down complex topics into smaller parts that are easier to understand. Because I recently learned the same material myself, I know which concepts students usually struggle with and how teachers expect answers to be written. I encourage questions at any time and adapt my explanations based on each student’s learning style—whether they learn better through examples, practice questions, or visual explanations.
I also emphasize building confidence, not just memorization, so students can solve problems independently.
A Typical Lesson Plan -
Each lesson usually follows this structure:
A quick review of what the student already knows
A clear explanation of new topics using simple examples
Guided practice problems completed together
Independent practice to make sure the concept is understood
A short recap and tips for homework or tests
Lessons move at the student’s pace to ensure full understanding before moving on.
