About Allegra

I had over 10 students last year many of whom were year 12 and have subsequently gotten into their desired courses. Previously I also volunteered for two years as a tutor to both primary and secondary aged students and have been tutoring professionally for a year now. I have a current Working with Children Check and am passionate about teaching. English was my best subject in year 12 and I was able to achieve a very high ATAR. I love language and am doing a Linguistics major as part of my Arts/Law (Honors) degree at Monash University. I pride myself on being able to adapt to the needs and pace of the student. Whether you are looking for remedial work, a head-start, a bit of consolidation or to be extended, I am the tutor for you.

About the lesson

I am able to improve essay writing skills and enhancing the way students express themselves. Helping students to writing in a more academic way and provide helpful exam tips. I often find it useful to go through some of my students' past work with them and see how it could be improved for next time.
