About Punyashlok

I am a high-achieving student with a strong academic record and a passion for supporting others in GCSE French. Having recently completed the GCSEs, I understand what examiners expect and can teach effective methods, highlight common pitfalls, and share strategies that improve results.

I explain complex concepts clearly and break topics into simple, logical steps. My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and focused on building both confidence and accuracy in French.

I take a structured but flexible approach in every lesson, adapting to each student’s needs and learning style. Whether a student wants to improve their speaking, master grammar, or push for top grades, I tailor sessions to maximise progress.

I am hardworking, reliable, and committed to seeing my students do well. My goal is to make French feel less intimidating, more enjoyable, and much easier to succeed in.

About the lesson

My GCSE French lessons are carefully structured to help students gain confidence, improve quickly, and achieve the highest possible grades in their exams. I focus on all four key skills — speaking, writing, reading, and listening — while also strengthening grammar, vocabulary, and exam technique.

Each lesson is personalised to the student’s current level and targets their weakest areas first. We regularly practise real GCSE-style questions, speaking role-plays, photocard tasks, translation, and extended writing so students feel fully prepared for assessments and mocks.

I explain concepts clearly and patiently, ensuring that students genuinely understand rather than merely memorise. I also teach effective revision strategies, model high-grade answers, and demonstrate to students exactly what examiners look for to achieve Grades 8–9.

Lessons are interactive and supportive, with numerous opportunities for students to speak French and ask questions in a relaxed setting. I set optional homework and provide feedback after sessions so progress continues outside lessons.

My aim is not just to improve grades, but to help students feel confident, motivated, and in control of their learning.
