About Hazel
As I come towards the end of the final year of my degree, I have decided to complete a teaching qualification next year. I have experience in delivering study skills support workshops to first year psychology degree students. I enjoyed this immensely and found I was able to communicate well with the students, this is in part what inspired me to persue a career in teaching. Additionally, my enjoyment in learning about the vast topics within psychology and a realisation that I have a good ability and understanding of academic assessment methods.

I try to let the student lead the topics of study so as to meet their exact needs. I believe interactive, activity based teaching is beneficial for learning as well as much discussion about topics to encourage original approaches and a thorough understanding.
