About Hannah
I have just finished my degree in English at the University of Exeter and I am expecting to obtain a First. Having studied a broad range of time periods and topics, including a vast number of Shakespeare plays, I am able to teach most areas of literature. Please contact me about which particular texts/topics you need help with. I have also undertaken multiple creative writing modules and can help you improve your writing. I am 100% dedicated and committed to every single tutee; I am a highly empathetic person. I really want students to enjoy English and to increase their confidence and performance.

I adapt my teaching to a tutee’s individual needs. Lessons can be led by the tutee needing help with specific questions or problems or I will spend time planning lessons that will be most beneficial to the student. I believe that lessons should be down-to-earth, fun and minimising anxiety. My main areas of focus are: subject knowledge, analysis skills, and essay-writing/exam technique.
