About Nicol
I'm an enthusiastic and approachable tutor who enjoys making learning feel simple, enjoyable and rewarding. I'm patient and always happy to take the time to explain things in a different way. I want my students to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and gradually building their confidence. For me tutoring isn't just about getting the right answer – it's about helping students understand why and enjoying the process along the way!

- I make lessons fun, engaging, and easy to understand. I use exam questions and mark-scheme specific answers to check understanding while adapting to each student.
- Lessons would typically be 45-60 minutes, depending on the students' age, concentration and individual needs
- I am currently an A-level biology, chemistry, and maths student with experience as a KUMON tutor, teaching maths and English and supporting students with additional needs. I have also gained experience working with children through further volunteering at an orphanage.
- I tutor younger students up to GCSE level.
