About Rena
I have been tutoring for 2 years at NC State University, giving me insight into what it takes to be a really effective tutor. I always strive to make the most of my sessions, and to put myself in the student's shoes, thinking of how I would tackle the class. I am 20 years old, studying for the DAT and just graduated, so school is fresh on my mind. I am proud to say I graduated with a 4.0 GPA at the top of my class. I love to teach, so as long as I have material and a student, I will be able to have your student understand the material better than they did. I am knowledgeable in science topics, and I love to share that knowledge with others.

I have a passion for teaching, especially in chemistry, physics, and math. I recently obtained my Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology from NC State University, and during my time there, tutored many students in these subjects. I love catering to a student's learning preferences, because there is no greater feeling than helping a student understand what they previously thought impossible. During a lesson with me, I prioritize how the student understands information, and explore that. Not only is a session with me in tutoring a subject, it is learning how to stay on top of things, be organized, and navigate your coursework.
