Sharon has a mountain of experience and the patience of a sage. No matter the background or interest the student, she definitely has a plethora of techniques to pull from to get her student into the zone. Whether it’s improv, audition coaching, on camera, on stage, or acting through song, Sharon knows her stuff. The best acting instructor I’ve seen in my career and I’ve had a lot of instructors.

Sharon is an absolute pro, with years of actual experience in the business. Her insights aren’t just based on a solid pedagogical foundation, (which they also are) but in the practical application of what is required to get in the room, book the room, stay in the room, and book that gig.
There’s nothing that Sharon misses on the page of a script, surpassing even the most granular academics — because she’s been there, executed it herself in the audition room, on the stage, on tour, and on camera. Additionally, she always knows what section of what song to do for any given audition. Her knowledge of the musical theater canon is frankly staggering, and her ear is incredible.
Sharon Pearlman is an absolute weapon in my audition and performance preparation arsenal. She is the first, and last word in my coaching.
