My Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from the University of Melbourne is the bedrock of my teaching. It is a rare thing to balance academic structure with the organic, raw energy of a gigging musician.
I have spent 13 years performing in the Australian Latin music scene, which gave me a deep, intuitive grip on idioms and expressions. I teach by drawing on the rhythms and vocabulary of the real world. My 11 years of experience allow me to navigate accent and intonation with precision.
