About Rebekah
Hello my name is Rebekah! I currently work as a Research Technician in a neuroscience lab, where I study how the brain regulates metabolism and energy balance. My background in neuroscience research has given me a strong foundation in biology and science, and I have also had the opportunity to tutor students in both the United States and South Korea. Through these experiences, I have learned the importance of adapting teaching strategies to meet each student's unique learning style. As a visual learner myself, I understand that concepts do not always click right away, which is why I enjoy breaking down challenging material into smaller, more manageable steps and helping students find learning approaches that work best for them.

My goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, building confidence, and developing a deeper understanding of the material. To me, tutoring is about more than academics—it is about helping students become confident, independent learners. One of my favorite parts of tutoring is seeing a student gain confidence and realize they can understand material that once felt difficult.
