About Leslie
Hello! dear students, my name is Leslie Laguitao or Leslie for short. I am from the capital city of Manila but is now currently residing in the beautiful Panglao Island, Bohol in the Philippines. I have been in the teaching field since 2013 and have almost 13 years of teaching experience both offline and online. I graduated Bachelor of Science in Information Management (ICT) in the year 2009, took up units in Professional Education in the year 2012 and finished my Master's Degree in Teaching in the year 2022 all finished in the same school at the University of Rizal System, Philippines. I passed the Licensure Examination for teachers in the year 2014 and earned my License as Professional Teacher. I was able to teach in the Department of Education (DepEd) Philippines between 2015-2024 where I was able to teach diverse of students from Grade 7 to Grade 10, age ranges from 12-18 years old. In my online teaching experience as an ESL teacher, I was able to teach kids from the very young age ranges from 4 to 18 years old and adults of all ages. Being an online teacher is not easy, it takes a lot of dedication ang long patience, but seeing your student improving and learning day by day is one of the best satisfying moment a teacher could ever feel. A famous line says, "It's the teacher that makes the difference, not the classroom". I hope I can also take part in your English learning journey, see you in my classes soon. Let's go!
