"Teaching, for me, centres on a direct approach where I break down the game into manageable parts. After 10 years of experience helping 127 students, I find that a competitive mindset is built through consistent, methodical practice.
I focus heavily on defensive technique and game analysis to help you avoid common traps. We will examine tactical patterns, middlegame planning, and opening principles to refine your board vision.
My sessions prioritise king safety and accurate recording and notation. You can expect a structured environment where we carefully review your blunder checking processes. This way, we focus on steady improvement rather than quick fixes."
