About Amanda
I have been working with youth and young adults for over 5 years, helping them grow in their confidence and mindset, so they can reach their full potential and accomplish their goals and dreams. I have my bachelor's degree in nursing and worked as a pediatric nurse for 5 years. In 2020, I transitioned into the youth development world and have been working for an inner-city youth development nonprofit for 5 years. I also worked for a student mentoring organization for several years helping students around the United States attain their goals and dreams and find success in and out of school. I have my certification in inner healing and help students identify core beliefs that are hindering them from reaching their fullest potential. I love walking with students and seeing them thrive and step into being confident and reaching their fullest potential. Everyone has a purpose on this earth, but sometimes we need help identifying that purpose and walking it out and that's what I love to help youth and young adults do!

I have a passion to see youth and young adults overcome social barriers and negative mindsets and thought patterns, so they can live confidently and step into the fullness of their purpose, vision, and dreams. I create a safe, non-judgmental space for youth and young adults to fully be themselves. During my lessons we will work on identifying student's long-term goals and visions for their life as well as their short-term goals and visions. We will work through identifying inner beliefs and thought patterns that could be hindering them from finding success in their day to day lives. We will work on growing student's social and communication skills. We will help them overcome barriers like social anxiety, stress, and insecurity so they can succeed in all areas of their life including academics and building healthy relationships. Some topics and areas that can be addressed during a lesson are resilience, mental toughness and fortitude, and handling school or career transitions.
