About Richard

My name is Richard, and I hold a Ph.D. in English. I am an award-winning author and university instructor with over a decade of experience teaching and mentoring students in writing, literature, and communication. I help learners at all levels—from high school to graduate programs—gain confidence, clarity, and mastery in their writing. I’ve taught courses in creative writing, academic research, and English literature, and my work has been recognized nationally through awards and publications. I understand what it takes to excel academically while also nurturing your individual voice and style. In my lessons, you can expect a structured, supportive, and interactive approach. I break down complex writing challenges into clear, achievable steps, provide practical feedback, and equip you with strategies you can use after our sessions.

About the lesson

I combine academic precision with creative engagement. With a Ph.D. in English and more than a decade of teaching experience at the university level, I help students develop clarity, confidence, and authenticity in their writing—whether they’re crafting essays, research papers, or creative work. My approach emphasizes not only what we write, but how we think about writing.
