About Summar
In my GCSE’s I achieved an average of 5’s and 6’s. I understand how bitter it is not receiving the grades you want, despite having done the revision.
By A levels, I was able to establish a revision method that worked best for me. It kept me motivated and made me start achieving the grades I wanted. I understand that not every revision method works for everyone, however I want to help support you in finding a method that works for you.

Hello, my name is Summar and I am an undergraduate student studying psychology at the University of East Anglia.
I am interested in teaching psychology A level and AS level students.
I achieved A*AA in my A levels, but this was not without struggle. I found difficulties particularly at the beginning of the year, getting averages of C’s. However, once I discovered the revision methods that worked for me I was able to gain confidence and fall in love with my subjects. I want students like me to experience that same euphoria and I believe I can make that happen.
My methods of teaching focus on the individual. I believe the way to achieving confidence and the grades you want is by establishing personal goals and discovering how to achieve them together. I aim to listen and understand your struggles so that we can tackle them and ensure you feel supported.
My main teaching strategies include consistency and most importantly exam practice. This will not be pressure induced exam practice, it will be on your terms, when you are ready.
I will of course also offer lessons based on what you feel least confident in.
The sessions will be 60 minutes long, once a week at a rate of £15 an hour.
