About Bhavisha
My name is Bhavisha Malik, and I am a third-year Psychology major with a minor in Education at UBC. I received Classical Indian music training in New Delhi, India, and have continued to follow my passion for music through various platforms. I was part of my school choir from middle school to high school, and I am currently a member of Sargam UBC, the university's only South-Asian fusion singing club, where I also had the opportunity to serve as an executive member.

Music has always been a powerful tool for relaxation and self-expression, and my goal is to ensure that through my lessons, students feel at ease and excited to explore their potential in singing.
Drawing from my own experience as a trained singer, I understand how intimidating it can be at first. Therefore, I aim to create an interactive and supportive learning space where students can confidently grasp singing techniques and concepts.
My teaching style emphasizes joy in learning, ensuring that students are not only developing their skills but also enjoying the process.
I offer lessons 3-4 times a week, both in person and online, with flexibility to adjust based on individual needs and preferences. Whether you're just starting or looking to refine your vocal skills, I'm here to help you navigate your journey with patience and positivity.
