About Tanya
I'm a past state-level spell-bee qualifier with an interest in English Literature. I've also previously taught at Unacademy. Having had that experience, I'm aware of the common challenges students face, with written and spoken English, and I would be glad to guide them past it.

I don't believe in forcing students to learn long words they don't understand the meanings of. I encourage them pronounce the words they already know, better and assign small reading tasks. Fiction interests children and aids in intellectual development alongside vocabulary and gives them an idea of writing styles. I then encourage that they pick one, or mix different writing styles and create their own. The transition is easier this way and children enjoy it too.
