About Ron
Hi, I’m currently studying to become a secondary school teacher, majoring in Mathematics and Science. I’m originally from Korea, but I’ve had the chance to study and teach in a few different countries, including Canada and Australia. I chose to become a teacher because I truly believe that learning should be meaningful, supportive, and sometimes even fun! That’s the kind of teacher I want to be for you. I love helping students gain confidence in subjects they may find difficult at first, especially math and science. I want to create a room where it’s okay to make mistakes, ask questions, and grow at your own pace. I hope to make this a great journey!

The first and most important step is understanding what kind of support each student needs. During the first lesson, I will take time to review the student’s academic performance and discuss the areas they find challenging. Rather than planning alone, I will work with the student to create a learning plan through open communication. Above all, the biggest strength of my lessons is helping students find more interest and enjoyment in mathematics and science. Each session typically runs for 1 to 2 hours, but I’m flexible to extend the time if the student needs extra support. I have over 3 years of tutoring experience, along with 2 years of teaching at a math academy, and I’ve completed my teaching placement at a school. These experiences have made me feel confident and proud of my ability to support student learning. I teach students from Kindergarten to Year 12, so feel free to reach out if you or your child are struggling with math!
