About Joana

I am a geography student in my second year of undergraduate, however, my focus is Japanese language. of 1 year.
In terms of language qualifications, I have all language certificates up to level B1.2 (B2.1 from October) as well as JLPT certificate N4 (I will be taking N3 in December). In addition, I've participated in several Luso-Japanese get-togethers in order to improve my fluency in the language.
I aspire to apply for a Master's scholarship from the Japanese government in the year 2022, and teaching the language of the country where I intend to study would be an asset (both for me and for explaining it).

About the lesson

As for my teaching methodology, this differs according to the level to be taught (N5 and N4).
Taking into account the level N5, classes/support will initially be directed towards knowledge of the alphabet (initially hiragana and katakana) , also introducing initial kanji. In addition to the alphabet, I will also cover topics and vocabularies corresponding to everyday life, and later on more complex and more technical topics for certain activities and situations.
At level N4, the study of Kanjis will be reinforced, as well as the continuation of the material corresponding to N5, and reading and comprehension of texts and audio will be inserted.
At both levels, materials will be provided. by me and will be completely free.
The classes can take place via any video platform (zoom, skype, etc.), or in person in the metropolitan area of lisbon.
