About Milly
Hello! Having spent three years studying English Literature I am now looking to spread my love of language to those perhaps less enamoured with it than I!
I am a keen reader, appreciating all literature in its many forms, but still retaining a soft spot for all things classic. Confident especially in grammar and spelling, I have professional experience in proofreading and editing, making me a perfect fit for someone less confident in their dialect and/or prose.
I hope to inspire and foster a love of our language, as well as helping those achieve the grades they dream of!

I work with each client to their own needs, from grasping the very basics of literature up to GCSE levels of the English curriculum. I start by outlining a clear goal and work upwards from there, tailoring both the speed and intellectual depth of each session to suit.
Working closely with the exam board's marking scheme and assessment objectives, each lesson will both clarify what is being asked and how to achieve this.
A typical lesson will span from 1-2 hours, depending on progress and happiness with the subject!
I work best with children from early primary years to the 11-plus age, but am also happy to help out with GCSE age.
