About Lisa
I am a special education teacher from NYC who has been working with neurodivergent students for 13 years and teaching for 7 years in an NYC public school. I have also been tutoring students who need reading intervention strategies using the Orton Gillingham method for 3 years both in small groups in individually. I look forward to working with you to help your children improve their reading, writing, and comprehension skills using this research-based method.

My Orton Gillingham lessons are personalized to meet the needs of individual students needs. I also write session notes to ensure that students are able to continually progress. Students can also receive personalized multi-sensory cards for the sessions created by me.
