I am a third year student double majoring in English and Religious studies. I hold a 4.0 GPA and have previously tutored elementary aged children (grades 4-7).
I understand what it is like to struggle in school and not know how to do better. I seek to help student work with their learning differences and not against them.

I am skilled in teaching children with language based learning disabilities such as dyslexia. As a child I had a form of dyslexia and have learned many tips and tricks when it comes to tackling the intricacies of language with a learning disability.
I would look to find ways to help navigate any struggles with English grammar, spelling and comprehension in a way that is specific to the individual being taught.
For example in many cases children with language based learning differences learn and comprehend in different ways than their peers. This can be honed as a strength with the right tools.
