About Chika
Currently enrolled in the Houston Independent School District’s Alternative Certification Program, where I’m learning classroom management strategies, student engagement techniques, and standards associated with TEKS (Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills). My experience working with kids has been through my time volunteering at the S.H.A.P.E community center where I have worked with kids from grades K-8. Here I supported instructional activities, learner engagement, classroom management and behavior modification goals. Currently I am an employee at S.H.A.P.E Community Centers summer program, where I function as a teacher for Middle School students, ages 11-13.

Details
Reimbursement for gas, and time traveled will be 58 cents per mile. Please give notice at least six hours before the start time of a scheduled session if you have to cancel or reschedule for any reason. If you cancel a scheduled session less than 6 hours in advance but at least 30 minutes before the start time, a fee of up to 50% of the cost of the lesson will be charged.
