Hello, I’m Loukas, an 18-year-old student at the University of Cambridge. I am studying Classics which gives me an excellent understanding of syntax, morphology, and how to learn languages quickly.

About Loukas
When I was 12 my family moved to Belgium, where German, French and Dutch are the national languages. This meant that I attended school in 4 different languages, and it instilled a deep love for them in me. I now plan to study these languages for a living.
Over the years, I have had to learn French, Dutch, Greek, German, Ancient Greek, and Latin from the ground up. I consistently achieved and graduated with a score of 95% in all of the above when the class average was 60%, and I can help you achieve this too. I have helped 9 students already.
I have been able to observe the many ways in which a language can be taught. Some of these worked miracles for me, and others were total duds. However, every person is different, and my unique experience means that I have a huge variety of techniques and ways to various parts of a language.
On a personal note, I very much enjoy playing sports (particularly football and basketball), watching films, reading, and being outside. Budget travelling is also a hobby I hope to pursue for years to come.
I also have a cat called Ouzo, and love fashion :)

To learn a language, the basics are required first. I can explain and teach:
- grammatical concepts and syntax
- sentence structure
- how to learn vocabulary extremely quickly and efficiently
- how to structure and write an essay
- how to sound words (with a demonstration)
After these have been achieved, we can iron the wrinkles out together. If you are looking to go further than this, I have book and film recommendations, and can stage debates and discussions in French.
