About Ria
Hello, my name is Ria. I am in year 13 and I have always had a passion for music. I started playing the piano when I was 8 years old and I have loved it ever since. Playing the piano was always so calming and it was a way for me to escape from my problems. I hope to light this same spark in other students, that playing the piano lit for me. I want more students to be passionate about music and teaching someone else with the same passion I had from a young age gives me joy. I believe that playing an instrument gives you confidence. Playing the piano also makes you different from everyone else, you have your own talent and that is what makes you unique from others.

I will teach kids in a pace that they are able to catch up with. I do not mind going over the same piece again if the student is not fully confident with it. I raise students’ confidence and make sure that they never give up. I have experience teaching younger kids with their basic piano skills. I prefer teaching grades 1-5, or even giving basic starter lessons to students. I want a younger audience to become more interested in music and take up playing the piano as a hobby.
