About SAVERIO
I have always been passionate about getting to know new cultures. For this reason, when I started my university career, I immediately decided to do an Erasmus. I lived for 1 year and a half in Ciudad Real, where I was able to improve my knowledge of Spanish. When I returned to Italy, I started to be part of an association of student volunteers who help Erasmus students in the city of Siena, in Tuscany. Siena is now my second home as I come from the deep south of Italy, Calabria. And through this experience I was able to continue living in close contact with the Spanish exchange students in Siena, with many of them I shared a flat, and with others I met often to cook something typical Italian for them. I have always given them my full support in the face of any difficulty, because I know what it means to live in a country that is not yours, and now I meet friends, brothers and sisters throughout the Iberian territory. I am always available, I give myself completely when I have to help someone out. I have a determined, sincere and stubborn personality, especially when I set goals. I always like to create an informal relationship with my students, I want them to feel relaxed and comfortable. I prefer to use didactic material entirely in Italian, however, having a C1 level of Spanish I have never had problems solving any doubts that my students may have about the Italian language. I always prefer to start with the basics of the Italian language, with the phonology of the language, and then move on to morphology and syntax. I am a teacher who tries to get the best out of my students, because everyone can learn a foreign language, it just takes willpower and perseverance.
