I have a grade 7 in English language (equivalent of an A) and a 6 in English literature (equivalent of a B). I have tutored quite a few times before, not only as a 16 year old, but I tutored neighbours English when I was 13-14 also.

My teaching method is catered around the student. I myself have a learning disability and memory problems, and I know how hard it is to understand and remember what a teacher can be talking about. I explain the topics clearly, and will happily go over anything more than once to make sure the student understands. I also reverse the roles. After learning something new, I believe that students telling/teaching me about a topic that I have just taught them, helps me understand whether they get the topic 100%, or need that little bit or extra help.
