About Dario
I’m a 30-year-old Business Development Manager with a degree in Engineering from Politecnico di Torino, one of Italy’s leading technical universities. While my main career is in business, I continue to tutor because teaching mathematics is a genuine passion. With years of experience helping high-school students and colleagues, I create a supportive and relaxing environment where questions are encouraged and progress feels achievable. Tutoring allows me to share my love for problem-solving and help students discover that maths can be logical—and even enjoyable.

My approach focuses on building understanding and confidence, not just memorisation. I start by identifying each student’s strengths and areas for improvement, then adapt explanations to their learning style—using examples, visual aids, and step-by-step reasoning to make concepts clear. I encourage active participation, asking guiding questions so students can discover solutions themselves and develop problem-solving skills. A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, beginning with a quick review of previous topics, followed by targeted exercises and real-world applications to reinforce understanding. I provide structured notes and assign practice problems to strengthen retention between sessions. I hold an Engineering degree from Politecnico di Torino, one of Italy’s top technical universities, and have several years of experience tutoring high school students in mathematics as well as supporting university peers. My lessons are designed for secondary school and sixth-form students (ages 14–18) preparing for exams, improving grades, or simply gaining more confidence in mathematics.
